Description
Ragna Froda is an award-winning Icelandic artist, curator, and fashion consultant whose work bridges the worlds of textiles, visual art, and trend forecasting. With a background in fashion and textile design, her creative practice explores the intersection of color, texture, and cultural storytelling through mediums such as ink drawing, and embroidery and fabric manipulation. Ragna has lived and worked in Reykjavík, Berlin, and New York, where she currently directs Edelkoort Inc. and New York Textile Month while running her studio at Mana Contemporary. Her curatorial projects include Tectonic Threads, Textile Takeover at Scandinavia House, and Fibration at L’Space in Chelsea, NY.
