ATOM DESIGNS delivers distinctive and inventive artwork for allover designs, graphics and placements, thanks to our carefully selected team of talented artists. We take great pride in producing exceptional, contemporary, trend-led prints for the fashion markets, from womenswear and menswear to swim, active, sportswear, and pretty much anything else you'd like to put a design or pattern on, we've even spent decades in the wonderfully distinct world of Hawaiian and resort prints.
We're a small group of traditionally trained artists who started creating designs BC [Before Computers]. Many of our designs still begin life by hand, drawn and painted the old-fashioned way, before being transferred into Photoshop or Illustrator. Others may start as a photograph taken by the designer, a piece of weathered wood, a rusted gate, a scattering of leaves and then reworked digitally into something new. Both approaches sit happily side by side, because good design is good design, whatever tools get you there.
Our design files come in full seamless repeat, layered, and most are indexed. Atom also loves to work alongside clients on their collections, creating something unique for their products.
Thirty-eight years in, we still get a genuine kick out of our wonderful world of fashion. We know what we're doing, but we've never stopped being curious about what comes next…
